Candle Safety
When using the Grouch Candle, please use a little common sense. After all it is fire and the fire can cause burns or even a house to burn down, So Please Be Careful.
We recommend that if you allow a child to light a candle, they need to be supervised both with lighting and also with the candle being extinguished.
Have a safe place to dispose of the match and make sure that the extinguished match is cool, before disposal. It may be a good idea to have an ashtray next to the candles as a temporary storage spot.
Do not light the candles near curtains, any fabric or by anything that is flammable.
When extinguishing the flame use a candle snuffer. They are very inexpensive and will save pain you from any possible burns.
Place the glass jar on something inflammable because the glass can get hot especially when the candle wax gets low.
DeGrouch is very concerned about your safety.
